this is the error that i get but i cant abort the job. it has been hung for almost 14 hours now, what should i do?

You can go into <install_path/netbackup/db/jobs> and find the job number and delete it.

In some cases that alone may not do the trick due to locks in place. Search the media server for any .lck files and delete them - You may have to stop all NetBackup services to release the read only attribute.

I have the same error. How do I stop it from happening again?
