what's wrong with my google ???

Hi. After a fresh installation of windows XP pro, I stuck with a google page on my pc that doesn't produce results at all. It gives me all kinds of insignificant results.
For instance view what happens if I type IBM in my google: not one head office in there...only stupidities..

If you are not convinced that it’s wrong, type IBM in your google and compare....

Go get firefox and try your search again. Based on the JPG you posted, looks like your IE got hijacked by one of the many malware out there.

Do you have any AntiVirus software? If not, then you definitely need it.

Does it make any difference if you clean out your Temporary Internet Files folder, and perhaps other Temp files? See this post and the comments about Index.dat's.

since it was a fresh windows install and I heard the word Malware...., I ended up re installiing windows again. took me a few hours but now it's working fine
