What's Up Gold Service Monitoring

I am using What's up gold to monitor my servers and some select services. One service I use it for is the SQL services. However, I have some SQL servers that are in a different domain. Currently, what's up gold will show those SQL services as down, when they are really up. I feel it is a security issue, although some services are checked without a problem, just not SQL. I can't afford another what's up gold box to put in the other domain, so, is there any way to configure what's up gold to monitor the SQL service with a different login or something?

I'm not sure about the WhatUp thing but you 2 other products which you may find useful are Server Monitor, a general monitoring product or SQLStripes, which is aimed just at monitoring and administering SQL Servers. Both are at
