I wanted to prevent a group from splitting over two pages. I tried using the "Keep Together" under the Section Expert, but that didn't work.

I was able to get it to work using the "Keep Group Together" option under the Group Expert.

Can anyone explain the difference between these two similar commands?

Keep together" just works on the section itself--for example, the group header, while "keep group together" will keep the group header, details, and group footer together for a particular group instance.

Ah ... Got it!

So Keep Together only works WITHIN a section, and won't COMBINE separate sections to keep them from splitting!

But Keep Group Together will combine all the separate sections embedded within a Group.

Now it makes sense ... and seems so obvious!

Thanks for the speedy reply.

Thank you for asking the question - you just gave me the answer I was looking for :D
