I have 2 AT commands on my PDC. All they do is point to 2 batch files I have written that pull files from client machines, so they can be backed up. The batch files work OK when ran manaully, but for over 2 weeks now the status of my commands are blank and the batch files have never ran.

Anyone?

hi,syndicate47 :
How often did you set your batch files in AT command to run?
I think that:
[1]The time that your At command would execute hasn't
reach yet;
[2]Maybe your AT command's format is wrong so its
execution cause an error & your client files hadn't
been backuped. To verify this, you can open event viewer
of your NT Server to view application errors. Are there any
errors caused by "shcheduler"?

The commans are set for 12:00pm and 7:00pm each week day, so these times have been and gone several times. There are no errors in my Event Log.

Also if an AT command is successfully running of has ran successfully in the pass what will the status show

hi,
Sorry, the error log of scheduler is of kind "system" not "application" as I last posted.
If there is no error logof scheduler
(that seems really quite strange), maybe your
schedule service hasn't been started? (maybe ridiculous, :) )
Moreover ,the AT command should not cantains SPACE chars,
if there is any then the whole command should be included
within double quotes.

And can you paste your AT command's output out here?

Agree that you should check the event log. By default I believe scheduler uses the system context to execute items which does not have permission to run items on PDCs I believe. We change the scheduler service to run under the context of a domain administrator account. You should see a permission denied type error in event log if this is the problem.
