Ok i know that sounds like a stupid question but what i'm doing is running a report thats created from arcview and if i run report expert it says my source is " ArcView Reports" what i'm trying to do is also make a subreport that runs on the same data but i don't know how to add it as the datasource for the subreport? I can add the .dbf file but that becomes static and i want my report to be used as a template. Any suggestions?

Select your subreport and then click database in your main menu. There is an option called set location...

Hope this helps.

No sorry you missed my question, which is probably my fault for explaining it improperly.

I know thats the screen i use to set my datasource, but i don't know how to choose an Arcview Report as my datasource. For the main report it does it automatically and i can't seem to find it under any of the categories, or figure out which category it would make sense to be under.

Sorry i have to bump this up, i really need some help on this? Their must be some arcview/crystal Guru's on here? Thanks in advance for any help!!

No one has any suggestions or can give me any help or direction?

Hello

The only suggestion that I might have is to create a new report and set this up as you would like to see the subreport, then import this as the subreport into the main report. E. McEvoy
