Whats Happening!

Hey everyone,

MASTER=Solaris 8
Client=Novell 6
NetBackup 4.5 MP6

Restore fails occasionally, halfway through with status 5!(Generic)

Many instances of the following message in the bpcd log.

BPCD_LOG_RQST_NO_STATUS

If restore fails re-trying works but messages are a constant.

No instance of such a message during the backup.

Anyone have a clue?

Can you post the bp.conf from Master & Client

I can post from the master but not the client. We have this great system here were the NetBackup admins are not granted access to any servers besides the Unix servers.

Would the bp.conf from the master alone help at all???

This error message is only seen while attempting backups and or restores of this particular client.

Let me see if I can get a copy.

I will post both if I can.
