what year did lucent become avaya ?

Im trying to date some partner equipment that's stamped avaya so I wonder what year lucent become avaya

a googke search wasnt real clear but I came up with is 2001 is that correct ?

interesting question. I thought it was 2000. And BTW, only the business equipment portion of Lucent became Avaya. The other stuff, like channel banks, switches, etc, still was Lucent.
