Hi guys quick questions

What wiring do I use for connecting G3si to G650

Ive tried using a straight thru with CSU on both ends didnt work then tried a Amphynol/RJ48 connector on both ends didnt work?

Then tried a Crossovwer using same connectors to switch didnt work

Both DS1s are connected as TIE Lines is there a different pinout for avay as opposed to standard crossover?

Crossover Cabling Pinouts
Many times this cable type is not needed. Many devices now have intelligent switching to internally switch pins for proper connectivity

Crossover:
Side 1 to Side 2
1 Rx+ 3 Tx+
2 Rc- 6 Tx-
3 Tx+ 1 Rc+
4 GND 4 GND
5 GND 5 GND
6 Tx- 2 Rc-
7 GND 7 GND
8 GND 8 GND

It looks like you used a network (ethernet) crossover (pins 1 & 2 crossed over to pins 3 & 6). A T1 uses pins 1, 2, 4 & 5. A T1 crossover would cross pins 1 & 2 to pins 4 & 5.

Try that.

Thanks
I'm assuming I will need to cross on both sides?

Side 1 to Side 2

1 w/Or 1 Blue
2 OR 2 w/Blue
3 w/Green. 3 w/Green
4 Blue 4 w/Or
5 w/Blue 5 OR
6 Green 6 Green
7 w/ Brown 7 w/ Brown
8 Brown 8 Brown

Yes. Pin 1 crosses to Pin 4, Pin 2 crosses to Pin 5, Pin 4 crosses to Pin 1, and Pin 5 crosses to Pin 2.

Are these systems located together or in different buildings?
