Hello

So I've got the official MS Press book, I must admit, it doesn't read to well.

So I've gathered some other sources of study, and will sit the test next week.

Here is a log-file (cmd /k "ls --color=auto "C:\70-290" > log.txt") of my 70-290 folder;

• CertMagic | 070-290 | StudyGuide.pdf
• 70-290 CBT Nuggets - Windows Server 2003 Environment
• 70-290.Training.Kit.pdf
• 70290SE.exe
• efsg_ms70290.pdf
• ep_ms70290_fast_facts.pdf
• ?earnKey 70-290
• Microsoft exam 70-290 preparation guide.docx
• Windows Server 2003 Group P...pdf (LeanThat)
• Windows Server 2003 Group Policy and Security.pdf
• Winstructor - Managing Windows Server 2003 Environment 70-290

So far I've seen a bit of CBT Nuggets, and read a bit of the Training Kit & efsg_ms70290 (ExamForce).

I'm planning to read;

• Windows Server 2003 Group Policy and Security.pdf
• ep_ms70290_fast_facts.pdf
• efsg_ms70290.pdf
• CertMagic | 070-290 | StudyGuide.pdf

And watch;
• Winstructor - Managing Windows Server 2003 Environment 70-290

Before doing the test, in the next 7 days.

Can you please tell me if I'll need to read or watch anything else in order to pass the exam?

(including things I haven't ls'd out of my 70-290 folder)

Thanks in advance,

Panarchy

PS: If you think what I've listed to study in the next week is enough to pass, please also reply to tell me that. Thank you!

I would imagine that that's plenty of material. I found that 70-290 pretty easy especially if you have a couple of years experience with the product.

Agreed. That is a ton of material. I'd be willing to bet that you have all the bases covered. Still, the only one who can tell you if you're ready is yourself.

Have you done any practice exams? I normally like to do a few practice exams, and if I'm getting 90% or more right on the practice exam then I'm probably ready for the real thing. Then I go back and do one more practice exam the morning of the real exam, just to get my head into exam mode.

kmc,

For practice exams do you have any opinions? I have the measureup as part of the class I'm taking, and I don't wanna spend the money on transcender for this test (I'll save that for 70-291).

I really wasn't impressed by the measureup practice tests for CCNA, they were horrible.... like if you answered CCNA questions they way you did on measureup you'd get them wrong

I have always used TestOut materials, and found their practice questions to be fairly representative of the sort that you get on the actual exams. Unfortunately, they don't offer an option just to buy practice tests, you have to buy the entire e-Learning course and it can be kinda pricey.
