What phones to sell

I love the 5400/5600 series phones. I don't like the new 1400/1600 phones as much. What do you sell for new systems? Also, does the 5600 phones support the VPN software like the 9600's do?

We only sell the 1400 and 1600 sets... They work great with lifters

When they are available (7.0) then i would use the 9608.
When you love the 56xx then you will love the 9608 too.
And it has vpn like the other 96xx.
The 5610 and 5621 can have it too.

You pretty much need to sell the 14xx and 16xx as the others are end of sale already or very soon and 96xx prove to pricey for most. The 56xx and 46xx both can be flashed to VPN firmware and work fine

When your competition is proposing phones that you can take home and they are not as expensive as the 9600's it can cause a little issue.

How do you guys deal with that? The softphone still has to have a VPN router at home as well.

Depends what they want, if they want the best flexibility and features then the Ip office will win out, if they want home workers free twinning and free SCN then the Mitel will win. Horses for courses as they day, there are others obviously but that's the two I deal with

go 9600 series and never look back vpn supported on most models

R3LzX, all supported 9600 phones do have VPN software build in.
The only one that does not have it is the 9610 but that one is not supported on the ipo.

We already have a few orders that are waiting to do 9608's. I like them. I thought the price was very fair on them too.

And yes they have vpn software just like the other 9600 phones.

7.0 for sure which is March I think?? I heard that there is supposed to be support for them with the 6.1 maintenance release though but don't quote me on that.
