What Makes 2005 Better Than 2000 ? 1

I'm looking for ways to convince management that we need to invest in a few SQL Server 2005 licenses.

For developers or DBAs, what are a couple of real improvements that 2005 offers?

Hi,

For business, the Report Model is interesting. This gives the possibility to let your business create reports based on models that have been set up by developers. This way, the business doesn't have to know the db structure.

The improvements of SSIS (former DTS) are also great.

The engine of SQL 2005 is faster.
