Hi all,

We're using backup exec and a seagate tape drive as backup system. The drive does not accept any of the tapes that I try to use, so I'm wondering if the tapes are the right kind. The tape drive type is ST20000N. The tape type is Travan 20 gB NS. In Backup Exec, the option 'mini cartride' is chosen as tape type. I checked the internet and mini cartridges look different than the tapes we're using now. Any help would be much appreciated.

Greetings, Dutch :)

you should be able to find this information out on the seagate site. sometimes on the back of the tape cases there is information about which tapes are for which drives.
