I'm trying to load some example files from a CD onto my C Drive. In the Install process, a message pops up and says "UNWISE.EXE Could not be opened. Please check that your disk is not full and that you have access to the destination directory."

Well, I've got 20G free. I've closed all the open programs.

I've not had this message come up before. Can anyone shed some light?

Unwise.exe is the uninstall file for any installation create with WISE. It sounds like something is trying to write a file, maybe back to the CD which is reporting as read-only?

Try copying one file at a time and see if there's a particular one giving the problem.

Wise is a popular installation program. Unwise.exe is the uninstaller portion that is created to uninstall the program.

Your error is likely due to a full TEMP directory. Use Explorer to empty c:\TEMP.

Do you have Admin rights? It could be a perission problem.
