what is transperent trunk dialing and how to program it.

I have hipatha 4000 and have already programed for tdcsu with a code as prefix to access.
now i want that there should not be ant code as prefix and i can directly access the desire trunk with dialing the extension no. of that trunk with are starting 2xxxxxxxx to 29999999 and 8888000000-88889999999.pls help

If the extension numbers you want are on a remote system that is on the other side of the trunk (Side B) you want the calls to go on, then you would go into WABE for the range 2xxxx-2999xxx and say the Route for those numbers is the route you have set up to go to that trunk. Same thing with the 8's. It's just like setting up Cornet between sites - you create the route between sites and then you just point the numbers to that route in the dial plan (WABE).

It would be the same on the other side - you would specify the route to the extension numbers on Side A in the dial plan on Side B the same way.

Routing the numbers in the dial plan is relatively simple, and if you already have the trunk set up and working the rest shouldn't be too hard. If the trunk wasn't already working that would add a good bit to the project!
