You're in a virtual hosted chroot server. The best thing to do would be to ask your tech support, but I know how responsive they can be. Barring that, you're going to have to do some guessing. Try putting a leading slash in front of "var/ or put /var/ in your search path, or you may have to use /home/virtual/site3/fst/var/though it may be as simple as not using the path at all. Since "." is in your path and you're running contact.php in the same directory your as config.inc you shouldn't need a path.

For future reference: a) post the damn include line, it means we don't have to guess at what you typed in your program, b) post a listing of your directory showing the paths and the file names so we don't have to take your word that the files are where you think they are c) don't name your include files ".inc", if someone puts that in a URL they will be able to read your php code.

Ericbrunson - Thank you for your help - it worked! I did not have to qualify full paths!

Thanks for the suggestions and next time I will put more information to avoid the quess work.

Thanks again.
