I am an Computer professional working with Microsoft based Network. Got some certifcations also. I want to be certified System Administrator under Sun Solaris. Could you tell me ??

Q1. What is the latest version of Solaris flavor available for the Admin certification (7 or 8)?

Q2. What is the Certification Roadmap for Sun Solaries Administrator?[b/]

Q3. What are the complete/suitable books available for the above in the market?

The latest test available is Solaris 8. There are two tests for complete Solaris cert, Sys admin I and II. Check out the Sun website:

Also, any books dealing with Solaris admin should help you.

Sun does sell CBTs for their certification tracks as well.

First of all you should know sth about Solaris, recomend to go for any course (one is enough)

1 egzam (6 questions from VI)
