Hi Experts,

may i know the meaning of those two words/term.

thank you

system id is the unique system number you bought from Avaya. Module ID is for each server in that system, starting from 1 and counting up. they matter for your licenses - they`re against a system and module id

RFA is Remote Feature Activation
The cm5 and earlier Communication Manager systems that range from g3v10 up to g3v15 require a license which turns on
RTU Right to Use for features that customers pay for. RFA is an Avaya database that has customer records that get updated
with SAP orders and licenses for changes to what customers pay for can be obtained from Avaya for customer's systems.

System ID is associated with server clusters which include a main or main server pair Module ID 1(MID 1) and ESS and LSP
servers all have the same SID and a unique MID. Each server requires a license and authentication file to be installed unless
the servers use WEBLM licenses.

cm6 and higher are similar but use the Avaya PLDS system for licensing. Servers use WEBLM licensing.

A great teacher, does not provide answers, but methods to teach others "How and where to find the answers"
