What is the process of Fiber optic wall outlets to Switches

This is a bit vague to be honest? The only real reason for doing this would be distance from where the switch is to where the connection is required (i.e. over 100M so a copper cable wouldn't work). You would still need to either convert the fibre back to copper (10/100/1000BaseT) at the workstation end with a media converter or a small switch or possibly use a fibre Ethernet module in the PC.

What is it you are trying to achieve?

And that's a Cisco 3850 switch in the image - isn't this an Extreme forum? :)
