I can't seem to creat a 50Gb partition, am I asking too much?

Is this a boot partition or a second drive, also what format are you using, i would presume ntfs but there are ways of using fat32.

Where are you trying to create it - disk manager?

If you let me know, i might be able to help.

As a system partition there is an 8.4GB limit (which you can get around). As a data partition that should not be a problem. More info please.

I wasn't creating a boot partition, and I was using Disk Administrator.

I don't exactly know why it came up with a message box saying it could not be done, because I tried it again later and it worked :-;

Thanks for trying to answer my question.
