What is the lastest version of sendmail? 1

I'm running AIX 4.3.3 ML 09

My sendmail is 8.9.3

Is that the highest supported by IBM (provided by IBM), or is there someother way to get to ver 8.12.4?

We have just gone through a week of sendmail configurations and NOW they talk about a possible upgrade. Something smells bad here. And whatever it is, I know that I'm going to have to clean it up. Einstein47

Bull's freeware site lists sendmail-8.11.6.0 as the latest AIX package, I am normally quite hesitant to use a tarball version, prefer to rather keep it tidy with AIX packages only. The IBM site isn't very helpful.

But I see CSD 10 is available, have you tried that?

Sendmail v8.11 is supplied with AIX 5.1L, so this at least is supported by IBM. LHLTech

I'm downloading the 4330(09)-10 tarball. I don't know what it will provide for me, but it is worth checking out.
