Hello,

I have a Windows 2000 file server. I am hooking it up to an ATA over Ethernet SAN. What is the largest amount of GB that Windows 2000 Standard can recognize as NTFS? I want to make a 2.5 Terabye RAID but I am not sure if Windows will support it. Please let me know.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure that 2 Terabyes is the maximum volume size under Windows 2000.

I've not done this so I'm not certain, but I believe the limitations are based on the block size. The default is 4K I believe. Use a larger block size and I THINK you can have a larger partition.
