WHAT IS THE HIGHEST VERSION OF YAHOO MESSENGER THAT WILL RUN ON 98

I TRIED TO INSTALL V.7 AND I REFUSES TO CONNECT... I USE YAHOO IN MOST OF MY HOME BUSINESS CONNECTIONS... I KNOW 98 IS OLD I ONLY USE THIS PC FOR BUSINESS AND I USE MY OTHER PC win xP FOR ALL MY OTHER DAILY THINGS, PLEASE COULD SOMONE HELP!!!!

7.0 or 7.5 should work, here is a link to all the old versions.

8.0 may work but run a little slow.

The lower version might run well in windows 98. A friend of mine did run the yahoo 9.0 might as well 8.0 but it is slow. Why not try 6.0 it might be a good choice.
