Hi,

We are using Commvault galaxy to backup our Netware envoirement,
we've just migrated from Netware 5.1 to Netware 6.1 and every thing works like it used to work.

We used to make a snapshot from the GW database and backup the snapshot.

But there are some better ways i presume.

Please share you experiences,

Thanks in advance

For our shop, we are using CRON to unload groupwise and let our backup software backup the entire groupwise database, then let CRON reload groupwise for us. This has been working flawlessly for us since it's inception! :)

CRON, the version that works on a NetWare Server, can be found at the novell web site.

Hi,

I am just about to install CommVault 5 to backup a Novell GroupWise server. I know CommVault can use pre/post scripts. Can anyone help me with how to use scripts in this instance.

Thanks!
