I am looking to spend about $100 - $150 on a new video card. What is the best video card for this amount of money?

Also, on an unrelated topic, what is the best way to connect multiple monitors to your computer?

Thanks!

Quite right cdogg
People forget very quickly, the fastest GF4 MX card (the GF4 MX460) actually is outperformed by the slowest Geforce 3 card the GF3 Ti200, I remember reading the reviews when the GF4 MX range came out.
I take your point about not taking one persons experience of Radeon or FX cards, I won't push it too much but will say as a retailer and custom builder I am exposed to many other peoples views and direct experiences of many differant products, after all I get the complaints and the returns when said products don't perform as they should.
I Don't know if you have read any of my previos mid range graphics card recommendations? but untill recently I always recommended the Radeon 9600pro/XT then I started mentioning the FX5700U, but it is hard to ignore the introduction of the FX5900XT when it clearly outperforms both the aforementioned cards in almost all tests by some margin and only costs $10-$20 more.
We do have a new midrange champion, come on cdogg, admit it! lol
