Hi,

I installed SQL2000 and Exchange2000 on two member server.
One single processor and one double processor.
This might avoid a lot of troubles in ADS planning.

Hope this help,

Robert

Hello, is preferable you install's it in a domain with Active Directory, since you can use the security of the directory access. The installation is normal, and soon you form the server configure acces to AD.

Have to agree with the gents above, but I have one more tidbit to throw in. I installed it on our W2K server running ad, and our consulten made one change having to do with our backup. He has SQL backing itself up to the hard drive as a flat file, and our backup backups the file, not the entire sql database. Saves time and room. Good luck. Glen A. Johnson
