Hey all,
What is the best choice application for data recovery
Thank you in advance

Regards

What's the problem? ...a corrupted OS that won't boot to give access to files or corrupted hardware (HD)?

Either way, you don't want to be running the native OS, as it will overwrite data you might recover. Google for a "boot recovery disk" with "data recovery".

I'm guessing that this is a follow-up to thread1726-1778685 ...

If the question actually is "how do I get data off a failing hard drive?" then I have used GetDataBack with some success. You can run the free version to see what data the program might be able to recover and then you can buy the license.

If things are really bad, you can send the drive out for data recovery though that it is not cheap.

I second GetDataBack. Back in my days as a Data Recovery specialist, we used that tool in conjunction with others with good success.

Generally its suggested to low level clone the drive onto a new functional one, skipping any unreadable sectors and then use GetDataBack to read the data off of it.

I have had success with "Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier". It's free.

One more recommendation: ISOBuster.

-Why these applications doesn't recover the same order of folder and files ?
