Hi everyone. I'm working on a freebie project for my church so I decided to get my feet wet with Indesign for the first time.

I am LOVING this product, BUT....I went to go to print and crashed. Someone told me that I can't print a 14 pg booklet if I'm stitching.

Oh, I'll bite....what the %*$@ is stitching. I don't think we have stitching in Quark.

None of my smarter friends know either.

Re: "Someone told me that I can't print a 14 pg booklet if I'm stitching."

My guess is they are refering to a saddlestitched booklet.

"Saddlestitched" is just a fancy way of saying "stapled."

A typical saddlestitched booklet is comprised of a stack of 11 x 17 sheets of paper that are stapled (saddlestitched) and folded to make the letter size booklet. The reason you can't make a 14 pg booklet is because you get 4 pages per sheet of paper -- therefore, you can have a 12 pg booklet or a 16 pg booklet, but not a 14 pg booklet.

I hope this is helpful information.

Joe
