What is required to replace existing Nortel MICS using T7316e sets

I ma use to setting up digital 5420's on IPO 500 systems. I have an existing Nortel MICS with a large inventory of T7316e handsets that the customer would like to keep in order to reduce costs by having to replace all of the sets.

I understand that I can emulate the T7316e sets with the IPO 500 v2. For example when I initially configure the system from the beginning do I configure it for a Nortel environment? Do I need additional software licenses or any additional modules to support the T7316e set emulation? And what software version is this available on?

There are both base and expansion modules that support Norstar phones. Requires essential or better license, plus any other normally required licenses. Configure like any other IPO, except when programming buttons. These phones work reasonably well on IPO. You can mix/match with Avaya phones on same system, just not on the same base/expansion modules. The newest digital expansion supports both types of phones, but cannot support both simultaneously.
