Hi Murray
Many thanks for the help but it did not work I used fdisk formated etc all up and running ok but still can not get rid of red box with PHDISK in it, anymore ideas please.
Barry

PHDISK is a utility that allows portable devices to use a SAVE TO DISK feature. When You close the lid of your laptop the data is written to drive c: in a hidden .Bin file

if there is a red screen that genrally means that the has been no hard drive space allocated to the SAVE TO DISK feature enabled in your BIOS.

Running PHDISK /create /file should resolve this :D

Can anyone e-mail me the Phdisk software plz

thank you very much
