When updating the firmware and the .txt files, What is the max numb simaultaneous IP sets that can boot using built in Manager TFTP, to avoid touching eac phone?

By the docs -> 5

So if you have more phones use a thirt party tftp server to be sure that it will work smoothly

Thank you for the information, that explains why only 5 of the phones had the new files.

Use the monitor application to see which phones have loaded the new firmware.
Select and reset some others to get the new firmware. Continue to do so untill all sets have upgraded.
I used this method to upgrade a 160+ IPPhone site when even an other TFTPServer packed up at 30 phones simultaniously getting the files.
On the next site I upgraded the Manager on the VMProPC so all new binfiles where already in place. Then upgraded about 20 sets at a time using the monitor programm.
Eventually upgraded the IPOffice to the latest release.

Strange thing with 2.824 firmware on old IPOffice 4.0.10 instead of 4.1 was cd CA-key where showing a=a= b=b= c=c= for both 4620 and 5610 phones. It was gone when the IPO was upgraded to 4.1.09.
IP4620 (4620D01A) didn't take the 2.824 and stayed on 2.3 (as in the txt files) any one knows why these still use 2.3?
the IP4620SW (4620D01B on the bottom) upgraded to 2.824 but the monitor then shows them as 2.807???
These last lines where added to help someone who is also using the monitor programm to reset the phones untill they are on the correct level! So 4620 could stay on 2.3 or show up as 2.807.

Hi Escorthosis,

I saw the same thing
Phone's with 2.824 show as 2.807 in monitor
5602 phones do show 2.824 in monitor
Phone swith the new firmware on software who not support it do show the double a=,b=,c=
The phones do work by the way
I don't know why the 4620D01A stay on 2.3

I believe i had a 5620D01A and got it on 2.824 ???

You metioned sel;ecting and reseting the phones. I am not familiar with how to do this via programming. Could you expand on this?

Open system monitor

Go to "status" and then "ip phone status"

Then select all the phone's you want and click on reset
