I have a site where some phones are seeing "GRP xxxx SPV Priority 1" on the display when agents try to log in to the sets?

Has anyone ever seen this before and if so, how did you correct?

I do not think anything is broken. That looks normal, but it might only be seen on Meridian Max based systems.

I have a phone that does just that if I log into a queue I support every so often.

so are you saying that agents can still log in to the sets and take calls despite this message on their phones? they use 2008 sets.

By all means. They can log in, put in their IDs, etc. Then if they press Release, the screen will clear that message. It only appears when they log in. Rls clears it.

that's odd. the site is telling me they can't log in to the phones bcos of this message.

is there a way to eliminate this message? i know how agents react in call centers and they're going to complain if the process for them to log in has changed.
typically, when they logged in, they saw "enter login ID" on the display, but now they're going to see this message instead.
can i get rid of it? here is a printout of the ACD group:

If I have a set not acquired by Sym, or Sym is down, I get that raw mode message, but standard ACD still works.

I don't think anything has changed. Remember, you are not working with people who live for phones :)

The phone is already logged in. Tell them to log out by pressing MSB enough times to display LOGGED OUT

Here is how it works on the ACD phone next to me:

1. Press InCalls, display shows ENTER AGENT ID
2. I enter my ID+## ~ Then the display shows the "GRP xxxx SPV Priority 1" thing.

ok, but my issue is a little different. when they press InCalls, they see the "GRP xxxx SPV Priority 1" message first, not the "enter agent ID" message. in fact, they see never see the "enter agent ID" message. the release key is working but i know they're not going to like this.

i changed close to 50 phones and all i did was change key 0 from a different ACD to ACD 5430. i made sure the sets were disabled and not acquired in SYMP. and some of the phones i also added AO6 for conference functionality.

does this have to do with Symposium? so if a set is not acquired, they will see this message but if it is acquired, it does not display?

For this one time, I must agree with bigindian65. It hurts, but I think he is right.

It is easy to see if it is aquired - just print the TN. If you don't see all the gook, it ain't aquired.

Here it shows that message if the in calls key is only press once. If you press it a second time, you are logged in. You have to press in calls twice.

When you "changed" key 0 you de-acquired the set. You should always out and rebuild those not do changed on ACD.

Acquire them in symposium and all will be back to normal and they will get their correct login screens.
