what is an asp.net user on XP ? 2

Hi all

I have a client with a hidden user setup on the machine the user name is "asp.net machine A"

The PC is a HP Pavillion zd7000 - brought from PC World (!)

The user is viewable in the users section of the control panel but not when you log in to XP !

Any pointers as to why this exists ?

This is caused by the .NET Framework Update from Microsoft. It creates an additional user account called ASP.NET, which you can see in the Control Panel > User Accounts applet.
