We're installing Perform 6 with a NMS server, can't seem to find what that server is for, thank you.

In recent years, as communication networks grow in size and complexity, the ability to monitor
devices remotely has become a vital task. One of the most effective means of managing devices
remotely in a network is via the Simple Network Management Protocol (known as SNMP). Using
SNMP, a network manager can remotely manage and control the devices on a TCP/IP network.
NICE Systems enhances its SNMP support for its servers in a NICE solution. This provides the
network manager with the power to remotely monitor NICE components, thereby enabling the
highest standard of quality for a robust and reliable system.
NICE?s integration with SNMP applications focuses on the development of SNMP Agents for
different types of servers to form the basis of NICE solution. SNMP intelligent agents gather,
identify, filter and report data concerning the status of the NICE servers.
A designated server acts as the Network Management Station (NMS). On this server, you install
the Unicenter software. Each of the monitored servers must be configured to send traps to the
NMS....Hope thats what you are looking for

Thank you Wilky. So basically on the Perform version, you have a NMS, CLS and logger server only?

Where do the calls get stored?

there is no such thing as perform 6. the latest version is 3.1, 3.2 will be released later this year still testing in lab.

The NMS (network management server) monitors all the nice equipment onsite via snmp traps.

Its uses tng unicenter 3.1 software. it can be configured to send email notifications to a support mail box once it recieves a trap.

The call information is stored in the interaction server (formerly called cls in 8.9)

The audio is stored on recorder, tapes, nas,EMC, Tivoli or netapp.
