That is perfectly normal. Windows 2000 DC MUST take role of PDC (emulator)
Another tip is when you install a second DC to keep your BDC for emergency needs aside. Take it off the network and keep in a safe place, so you're always able to rollback.

thank you! i try to say what happend if i install a new Windows 2000 server in a existing domain (in a different server, that means in a new server, mi PDC and BDC´s exist but i what install in a new machine I DON´T WANT TO UPGRADE MY PDC)what must i do?
install active directory ?? but what happen whit my present PDC and BDC´s?
