We are in the market for a new Email Server Software package. We currently use QuickMail 2.1 in a mixed Mac/PC network. (35 users) We have a DSL direct to Internet. Server can be either Mac or PC (probably PC).
We are looking at Eudora, but are not sure if it will work. Outlook is definately out!
Does anyone have any experience with Eudora server? Is there something better? We need decent SPAM filtering and virus detection, so program must have this or be compatable with third party software. Cost is an issue too.

If cost is an issue you could set up a PC as a linux box and setup fetchmail and popd on it.
Failing that something like Vpop3 ( will do the job. Addons for virus detection are low cost (not much extra, but must buy virus checker as well), anti spam and well tested. Vpop3.co.uk for more information.

PS: Outlook is out?
Outlook is not a mailserver anyway, it's a client!
