I am playing with an old Performa. I have found a LC PDS slot and have come to the realization that I have no clue what it is for. Is it for a graphics card? If you have the answer please tell me.

they made graphics cards, ethernet cards, apple II emulators, MPEG accelerators....

are all examples of LC PDS cards, none are mine, just examples I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

So basically it is a everything port.
Hey what would speed up my Mac the most to put in there?

I run 3 monitors on my mac, so I know I would use it to add monitors, but if you have cable modem or DSL available, it would speed up the internet to put a RJ-45 Ethernet port there I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.

Yeah it would but I already ordered a Comm slot ethernet card so...

Good; because the comm slot ethernet card will run smoother and more reliable and you can put a modem in the processor direct slot.

Umm can you think of anything more productive to put in there? After all a modem and ethernet seems a little redundant.
