Everytime i login this error shows. " Fatal exception 0E at 0028:C02B7FDC in IFSMGR(04) + 0000FGF0"

PLease help me..asap!

thanks

Nope it still doesnt solve the problem.

Everytime i login and even logs out, this error occurs. Even if my username is administrator, stil there is an error. I tried reformatting the pc and even changed it's LAN card, still there is an error. I've already searched in microsoft support articles but then i cant find an exact match about this error.

Maybe the problem is with the profiles?....Help!

Sounds like a hardware problem, pull out all of your components, and see if it still happens. What OS are you running (you say you logged in as administrator, that tells me you're not running 98). Does this happen in safe mode?

Tell us more about your system and network. Is this a company computer?

Thank you!!!

yes it is a company computer. The os is windows 98 and a memory of 198 mb. And we are running it in normal mode and not safe mode.

a fatal eception error pretains to a memory problem. I ahve seen this once before when the hardrive is crashing, do a diagnostics on the hardrive as well as test the memory.
i would definately make sure you have a back up of needed data before you do anything else.

claudz, I suggested booting to safe mode as a test. If it doesn't occur in safe mode, you're looking at software or communications. If it occurs in safe mode, you've probably got a hardware issue.

Memory of 198 sounds like mismatched mem sizes. You said this still occurs after reinstalling the OS. I would lean toward the Mem first.
