I use a secure server for the work website so I do not have FTP. Instead my company gives me a slow horrible bit of in-house software to use. So I opt to use DreamWeaver and then copy and paste the code back in online.
I have used Teleport Pro to copy my website onto my HDD. However, when I tested a copy and paste back on the site I noticed that the image tags were different. The difference caused all the image links to break.
The image structure should have been: src="/img/ESS
But instead I got: src="../img/ESS
What do the two dots mean? and why are they there? As soon as I get rid of the dots everything is OK.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.
