I recently took over a customer, and they have 2 BCM 400's one in Seattle, one in Durham Region Ontario), and a BCM 50 in Florida.
What do I need, so they can call each other without LD., or even send messages betwen each other.

(good with traditional CICS and MICS, new to BCM, but eager to learn!!)

IP trunk keycodes on all systems and a WAN that can provide QOS. IP trunk keycodes are purchased in quanities of 2,4,8.

mcdn is not necessary, but if you want to tandem trunks (toll bypass), it makes life easier by far.

I know the customer has T1's in the states, and just DSL in Durham, will that be sufficient for my application?

If you are also looking to send messages between systems you will need a message networking (VPIM/AMIS) keycode.

T1's and DSL will be adequate enough to get up and running and depending on data and voice traffic, may suffice. I'm in Durham region if you nned assistance with this one.
