I am trying to decide whether to get one on XP or Win 2k and I was wondering what book would be the best to study with.

In addition to feedback from here, check Amazon.com's reviews after doing a search for any books on the Exams you're interested in. I never buy a technical book without checking there.

I'm studying for that exam right now and I'm using Microsoft Press, it's ok, but there's a tendency of repeting sentences over and over again...the writers get paid by the word...the book contais like 900 pages or so...

Books from New Riders are better I think!

I use to use only MSPRESS because they write the exams too but then I tried a Sybex Mastering series book by the one and only Mark Minasi. Great book tells you what you need to know and why for everyday use (not exam prep), which in my opinion is where you will suceed.

His humor is carried through the book and even tells you where Microsoft went wrong. You will get a better undersatnding from this book then any exam prep book. Read and follow the labs exercises (must!) then just use an exam cram or testking to prepare for exam.

Mark Minasi is the number 1 selling auther of Windows books and out sells any Microsoft books of the same subject.

Good Luck
