Hi,

I have the Crystal XI and loads of reports, but I can no longer share them. I have tried:

Merge Modules - couldn't get it to work
Crystal Viewer - can't change report parameters when refreshing, therefore useless.

Is my only option either Crystal reports server or going back to school and becoming a developer?

SAP & Business Objects seem intent on destroying what was once a great product.

Thx

Dennis

I agree, Millet Software's data link viewer is the way to go. He also has Visual CUT, which can do anything that Event Manager can do with a scheduled crystal report (Disclaimer-I am talking ONLY about scheduled crystal reports, there are lots of other great reasons to buy Event Manager), for about 1/10th the cost.

Software Sales, Training, Implementation and Support for Macola, Synergy, and Crystal Reports. Check out our Macola tools:

2 options I've used other than adding to the MES menu (for users that don't have Macola access).

1-Set up a one step work flow in Synergy that accepts the parameters, then have event manager run the report and email to the user based on the parameters they entered.

2- Try They have a free (ad supported) viewer that works really well.
