Westell Modem

Hey everyone,

I recently switched from cable to Bellsouth DSL and they gave me this Westell modem (model A90-210030-04) which has a router and it's causing me problems. On the shareware program WinMX, it says I can't make a primary connection to the network because I can't accept TCP connections because I have a router. Do I have to buy a different modem to fix this?

That thread refers me to the Westell userguide, but I don't have the CD ROM for the modem. Do you know where I could get one?

What cd rom? In the userguide you should find the instructions for port forwarding. You'll just need to find out what port(s) WinMX requires and forward that to your computer.
