WEIRD "Date book canot import prior to 1970"

I am getting an error that informs me I can not import dates prior to 1970 and it will fix them. I have had this happen on two Palm V running different versions of the desktop, one running mirror one running hotsycn, please HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think this happens when you have birthday etc.. prior to 1970 entered in your reminders. It cant deal with the date so it makes them all to Jan 1 1970.
