Hi again.
We've noticed that the C drive on our Exchange server is filling up. Turns out the culprit is Simpana! We discovered a whole bunch of large files under the iDataAgent JobResults folder. They are in C:\Program Files (x86)\CommVault\Galaxy\iDataAgent\JobResults\CV_JobResults\iDataAgent\MS Exchange MB Agent\<some-number> and include:
ExchangeIndex (112 MB)
ExchangeIndex.full (106 MB)
ExchangeIndex.incr (110 MB)
exMsgFull.dat (57 MB)
exMsgFull.idx (45 MB)
exMsgIncr.dat (59 MB)
exMsgIncr.idx (47 MB)
export.txt (11 MB)
export.txt.tmp (5 MB)
and others. These files are recent (some with today's date) and exist in quite a number of folders, so when added up, they come to several GB.
What are they, why are they there, and why doesn't Simpana clean up after itself? Can/should we get rid of them, and if so, how? What are the consequences of getting rid of them?
Thanks!
