I have searched everywhere, and I can't find a solution!!

I have a User (User A) that is sharing his calendar, but the User (User B) that he is sharing it with can't add an appointments to it. User B has Editor Rights to User A's Mailbox and Calendar. User B can see all of the information, but anytime that User B attempts to add anything, they get the "Unable to open free/busy information" error message. I have tried to give User B every combination of Rights possible and still get the same message.

I have given User B rights to the Inbox and Contactsand the Rights work properly.

Any Suggestions!?!?

When you read free/busy information, you are actually opening a message in the Schedule+ free busy public folder.

1. Has user a successfully published free/busy information?

2. Are there any duplicate public free/busy messages for user a?

3. Can user b access the free busy times of other users?

4. Is user b having any issues accessing other public folders?

1. Will have to check when he logs in, but I am sure he did.

2. No other entries.

3. Yes, User B can access any other User's fine.

4. No issues with Public Folders.

It is Outlook 2003 if that matters...

Here is the funny thing, it worked for an hour or so, and even though no other changes were made, it went back to doing this.

I've the same problem when a try to plan a meeting, all the others i'cant see what they have planned... it's the same error message ...

Anu idea already

Nothing yet. I created a new calendar, copied all the data, and then shared it in the exact same way, and it finally worked. But the orginal is still not functioning...

I'm having the same problem, with Exchange & Outlook 2003.
Added one user - can view & edit his calendar OK. Added 2nd new user - can view but not edit his calendar. Get the "Unable to open the free/busy information" error msg.

Any solutions gratefully received!

One by one, the penguins steal my sanity. X-)

The error since loading SP1 that i am getting is that when the user adds new stuff to their calendar it doesn't show up when those that have access to his calendar open it from their PC.

Any ideas?

Nevermind on my issue. I should have taken a look on his PC but i took their word for it since we are talking about the CEO and his Secretary. Anyway she came and told me it might be on his end since he didn't get any email overnight which is impossible. So going over and taking a look I see that his Outlook was connect "Work Offline". Once online everything was fine.

What a nice morning.
