I turned my computer on today and a strange constant beeping noise was coming from my computer. The screen was blank and now no Window XP logo appeared. I then turned it off and turned it on again. After I turned it on the second time it worked. What caused the constant beeping?

Could be as simple as a stuck key on the keyboard. (or a book setting on the corner of the keyboard in my case)
