Weird Alarm showing up

Hi,

I have the following alarm: -

02D00 POW-SUP y MAJOR y 04/28/14:01 00/00/00:00

This relates to a power supply in Port 2D of the G650 stack.

My problem is I don't have 02D (never have), so why is the alarm being generated.

I have 01a,01b,02a,02b,02c only

I'm using CM4 on 8720's (duplicated)

Any help would be appreciated.

Try doing 'change cabinet 2'. Where it shows a G650 in the D position put in 'not-used'.

Hi,

tried that, this is what i have: -

E not-used PN 02
D not-used PN 02
C G650-port PN 02
B G650-port PN 02
A G650-port PN 02

Anything else I can try?

Call Avaya Support. I had a similar issue that turned out to be corruption. Tier 4 was able to fix the problem.

I had a customer with a similar issue. We assined the cabinet under the change cabinet command. Next we went in and chaged circuit pack to remove the power supply. Finally, go back to the change cabinet and put not-used in the cabinet spot.
