I am using Crystal 8.5. My report identifies the week number, and has a manual crosstab that starts over for each week. (It is grouped by week) The day of the week is appearing correctly at the top of each column. But, the date only appears for the first column of each week. This is what is happening:

Week 45

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
11/11
(data) (data)

(data)

Week 46

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
11/14 11/17
(data)

Can anyone give me any suggestions??

That depends on what you want, which you didn't share.

Are you saying that you intend to group by week, yet have daily totals?

Or are you saying that you want to show data for days that aren't present?

Example data and expected output would help, you've demonstrated what it shouldn't look like, I guess... Which is moderately helpful, but we need to know what you hjave (the data, not an example of a bad report), and what you expect.

I'm sorry, the example I gave you was incorrect. Here it is again (what I don't want)
Week 45

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
11/11
(data) (data)

(data)

Week 46

Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday
11/14
(data) (data)

Notice how there is data under week 45 Thursday and Saturday. Also there is data under week 46 Monday and Tuesday. the Problem is that the date is appearing under Week 45 Thursday, and Week 46 Monday. The other two days with data are blank. I want the date to show up anywhere there is data, not just the first time for each week.

Even better, is there a way to automatically date the fields using the week number, and the day of the week. Regardless of whether or not there is data??? So under week number 45, I could put a formula that says something like if the day of the week is Sunday, add the week number, and the date is ??????.

To get the date to appear where there is data:

Assuming you have formulas like this:

//{@Mon}:
if dayofweek({table.date}) = 2 then {table.date}

...you can insert a maximum on this (and on other day formulas) and suppress the details section.

If you are trying to create a calendar, then please see thread149-703505. There is also a link in that thread to a sample calendar report--developed in 8.0.
