WebVPN client wont authenticate

I setup a vpn concentrator and I want to be able to browse and download files on the server in my ofice remotely over the internet. I get to the login prompt on my browser but the server wont authenticate my user credentials.....I am using the same administrator username and password as I do to log in and out of my server throughout the day. I can tell that the login info is making it to the server cause event viewer shows me the failed logon attempts.....i think it event id 680 or something similar....any ideas?

What concentrator are you using? - e.g. Cisco 3030

the password for your server and the group name and password that you setup on the Cisco concentrator will be completely different. Use the Cisco info when trying to login with the cisco client and you should be good to go.

this is clientless webvpn. It first asks me for group name and password which I enter and it excepts. When I go to browse the network I am asked for the windows domain password and username. I submit my server admin account info and it is rejected by the server. This login info I use throughout the day locally so I know that it is good. I dont have a problem with the group name password, if I did this ? would be on another forum. It is my windows server credentials that are being rejected for some reason.

Are you sure it is being rejected? In theory, after several "rejections" your account should be locked. It might be that you are having difficulties communicating with the domain, are your DNS settings configured ok when accessing via the webvpn?
